Matthias van Nispen tot Pannerden (1981), studeerde aan het Brabants conservatorium achtereenvolgens klassiek saxofoon bij Jean Pennings, hafa-direktie bij Hardy Mertens en compositie bij Kees Schoonenbeek, Alexander Hrisanide, Willem Jeths en Maino Remmers (lichte muziek).
Tegenwoordig is hij actief als baritonsaxofonist bij het Orkest van de Koninklijke Luchtmacht. Sinds 2022 is hij dirigent bij harmonieorkest KVA-Oss. Daarnaast dirigeert hij regelmatig als freelancer en schrijft hij muziek voor diverse bezettingen. Zijn composities kenmerken zich vaak door combinaties van lichte muziek met veelal filmische klassieke invloeden.

Currently he is active as baritone saxophonist with the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Since 2022 he has been the conductor of harmony orchestra KVA-Oss. He also conducts regularly as a freelancer and writes music for various ensembles. His compositions are often characterized by combinations of light music with cinematic classical influences.
